at least for the next 9 months. The Judson Rockets fell to Stevens High School Friday night 12-14. It was an awful game. The wind came a blowin in at about 7, and it made things difficult for both teams. It was really sad to see a great group of senior boys play their last game ever most likely. At the end of the game Brooklyn asked why everyone was so sad and we Bill told her that it was because football is over. She told him we still have next week, in which he replied no its over for another year. She started to cry! My poor football brainwashed children are sad too. I think Jack actually is glad because the last two days he has sat on the couch watching college and pro football game with his dad and is LOVING it! It is a bitter sweet thing for us because we do miss those football games, but we sure are glad that our daddy will be home a little more often. We know Joel is sad too, because of the premature ending to a season, but we know he is still influencing lives in the classroom and has already sent text messages to his boys about how great they are. I choked up when I read the messages. We love you DADDY and are so proud of YOU! Whoop Whoop Judson Rockets!

We are so proud of you Joel! I know you are making a positive impact on the young people you are involved with. I hate it things didn't go the way we all wanted it to but we have to look forward. We love you.
