Joel's Pride and Joy...a Diamond J Pumpkin
For FHE The Beicker and Bailey's came over to carve pumpkins. It was a lot of fun! It was Brents first time ever to carve a pumpkin, Nick is a pro at it, and Joel...he didn't do too shabby. Brooklyn enjoyed sticking her hands in to get the seeds out. I let Brinley and Brooklyn paint small pumpkins before dinner, but I forgot to take pictures. Anyways, we enjoyed ourselves and had fun watching the boys carve the pumpkins. Needless to say Joel was stressed out the whole time about the mess his made and about destroying the pumpkin while carving it. Enjoy the pics.

Only Joel would get stressed about the mess. Why is it that the dads always seem to take over the pumpkin carving...isn't it supposed to be designed by the kid? My dad was the same way.
