Brooklyn aka Bridget

Okay so I had a little moment with my kiddos this evening. I was getting ready for bath time and such when we had a full on tickle fest on my bed. My kids LOVE to be tickled and roughed up as Joel calls it. It was so much fun. I had lifted Brooklyn shirt up to give her belly busters and then she did the same to me. I looked up and Jack (stripped down naked except his diaper) came crawling towards me full force and laid his head on my tummy with his thumb in his mouth. He did the same thing he did the other day with my silky pj's (see previous post below), but it was my skin against his. It was so funny. So I guess he really loves soft smooth textures.
Okay, so back to the reason I called Brooklyn Bridget. For all of you Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants girls this will make much more sense. I had this gitty....oh I am in trouble...oh I can't wait....oh I hope she doesn't get hurt feelings about her playing soccer tomorrow. Yes, I signed her up for soccer and tomorrow is her first day. I bought her these soccer socks with shin guards built in and we had to try them on with her shoes so I would know if I needed to get her anymore. She had to pretend Joel was the coach and made him tell her what she needed to do to practice. She ran around with her long blonde hair and her cute little muscle legs with shin guards in nothing but a tee shirt and all I could think about is the beautiful, but tomboy Bridget playing her best game of soccer. Lets hope Brooklyn doesn't turn out to be completely like her because her mom did die, she always would just run around in her sports bra, and she shacked up with her coach! I hope Brooklyn loves to play sports as much as Joel and I did, but something tells me if she didn't I would love to support her in whatever she wants to do (with in righteous means). I will post pics ASAP after practice tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Good luck Brooklyn! I know you will be great at soccer and you already have prettier legs than anyone else I know. We love you!

I hope you had a great time at soccer Brooklyn! I'm sure if you aren't the best out there, you will at least jump on someones back and knock them down like your mom!
