Basketball Jack...

Jack is 2 1/2 and LOVES basketball.  He loves all sports...but has a small obsession with basketball.  If a game is on TV he watches intensely.   He thinks in every game the Spurs are always playing.  We have a goal inside and outside and if I let him he would play ALL day long.  He is so funny because he likes to change it up and have the inside goal hang from different places.  Right now he loves for it to hang on our dresser.  The dresser 5ft tall and he likes for me to hang it on the highest drawer so he can...Dunk it!  His little legs even scissor open when he is in the air like many of the pros.  He gets really frustrated if he isn't on a roll with making a goal.  He is actually pretty good and is starting to have some form.  I have never seen such a little one be so OBSESSED!!!  Now, if you know me I am not complaining I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Basketball too.  Maybe he will get his namesakes height (6ft. 6 inch) and can one day be great at this sport he is already growing to love.  Now, this doesn't mean I am not against football at all.  I am pretty sure once he gets those motors skills down more and has other little ones to play with he will love that sport too.  I guess I am just in awe with his love already for basketball...it is too funny.  I will have to get a video of it up soon.
